Im sad... and excited...

So my sister is about to be getting her first car pretty soon, and it's either gonna be a 2000-05 eclipse or a comero/fireturd...

Bad news: She might get my car
Good news: I would be getting an LS1 if she got my car...

Im so excited that theres a possibility of me getting a trans am or z28, but at the same time i've put so much of my time into my car that I would hate to not drive it everyday. Even though it would still be in the driveway, its just so sad...

I was looking at a 99 NBM trans am with 67k, ttops, stick, for about $11,000..
I cant seem to find anything cheaper around me right now, but all I could think about was how sexy our driveway would be with an nbm trans am and nbm camaro sittin there...

I really dont want to get rid of my car... Im attached to it. I've put a lot of money into it, and my time... I guess i'd just hate to have to start all over again. I know I dont have much done to it, but im on a college budget so its not easy doin much..

But thats why I'm sad and excited, I'd hate to not be driving it anymore... but having an ls1 would be awesome...

You don't have to lie, we understand. The real reason you are apprehensive about giving up the camaro is that you put all the time and energy and love into and now your sister is gonna be the "owner" and the "driver" and probably won't take nearly as good care of it. Sure if you sold it to a stranger they probably wouldn't take the same care of it as you, but you'd never see them again so you don't know. Since you (presumbably) see your sister on a daily basis, seeing the car deteriorate will break your heart. Right? :poke:

She would take less care of it then I do... She wont be out there every other week detailing it and getting it ready for the weekend car meets at the local diner...

Im also afraid of her driving.. Shes just getting her license and I dont know if this is a good first car for her... Yea its just a v6 but for a new driver sometimes its still too much. Kids always feel the need to do 60mph down sidestreets and burn out at every stoplight...

Well the deal would be I would have to give my sister my current car, and then they buy me a new car, instead of having to buy my sister a car. They figure if she's gonna get a camaro, why not let her have one that they know is well cared for and everything, and then help me out (and my dads soon to come life crisis) by getting me an ls1 lol.
