    Engine swap or wait for a 5th gen

    Well, thats the question.

    I've already dumped ~ $2500 in my v6 on various things, nothing performance related though.


    and I'm wondering what you guys think.. should I just drop $~7000 and get an engine swap or... keep my money and wait to make a down payment on a 5th gen?

    hmmm you invested 2500 into the car, nothing performance wise, and ls1 swap is on the list?

    if you are not going to do the swap yourself, then its not worth it, save your money.

        why spend 7k on a swap when you can just buy another car.

        edit, for 7k you can build a nice stroker lt1.

                My car is in excellent condition with 40k miles on it and its a 99 oil changed every 4k miles, and Im keeping it up.

                        save for house, or invest it & use that for a house.
