i normally just play hockey/get drunk.

its easier living in a dorm, because people are always around. join a gym and start working out a lot though. takes up time, makes you feel healthier, and you get jacked!

Re: What the hell is there for teens to do?

I did join a gym, paying ****ing $35 a month for it. But I hate working out on my own, and my roommate is the only other one of my friends who is a member. As for the job, my school schedule makes it really tough, taking 18 credit hours with 2 labs a week. I'm just going to wait till summer for a solid job when I move back home for the summer. As for the girlfriend, not looking for one right now. And even if I did go out with one of my "contacts" (**** buddies), I'd still have to spend money that I really don't want to spend. And its hard enough to even wash my car, since its still snowing (why the hell is it snowing in April?). Its really hard to do ANYTHING to my car, since its so cold and my apt. complex doesn't allow people to work on their cars in their parking lot.

Well tonight I'm going to my roommate's house, because another one of my friends is "house-sitting". I pretty much pray for Thursday nights and on, since thats when all of the parties start happening...

              I third the gym idea.

Go work out a lot, it takes the edge off and makes you not care as much about your problems (or lack thereof, if you're bored.)

Also, get some Zaino and go to town.

Get some Z2 or Z3, cure additive, and LAYER that ****. It will take hours.

Get a job, take some classes. Work on the car(clean it), get a girl or a **** buddy(they don't have to be expensive) Maybe some video games(expensive at first I but I still play GTA and GT4 on my PS2 and love them.

get some more buds and just drink some cheap beer, and have fun. Not sure of your area but when I lived, in college apartment places there were parties couple times during the week.

You can't get a job with 18 credit hours? Wow. I must be a total over acheiver then, cuz I have 16 hours plus 2 jobs and I still manage to go out and party too.

I'd say if you are that bored you have time for a job. If not then get a bike, rollerblades or a pair of good running shoes and just go play around outside. Thats free. Look into activities around your school. Not sure where you go, but most schoold have all sorts of free/reduced price activities. Concerts, shows, guest speakers, clubs, bowling, billiards, etc. There is plenty to do, you just have to find it.

Re: What the hell is there for teens to do?

ususally i build things when I'm bored (or pissed)...
I just built a new beer pong table in the basement of my apartment. Its a 8x4 sheet of plywood, completely painted and with a coat of polycrylic on it so its basically indestructible. I got gutters running down the sides too. I'm still drawing up designs so i can put a water recirculation system to eliminate water cups too.
You could start homebrewing too... 150 gets u almost everything u need and its 20-30 bucks for ingredients per batch after that. If you figure that you're drinking premium beer, you're saving a ton of money, or you can sell them for $1 a beer, make your money back and STILL have like 24 to drink of your own.
Play guitar! When i'm bored (rare these days) thats what i do. I just sit down and practice scales or basic songs till my fingers hurt or till i can play it with my eyes closed. then i pick something else to learn.
You could also learn how the stock market works and how to make money there. You could spend ENDLESS hours researching stocks, and playing fantasy stocks online for free. Thats one of those things tho that you can only use money you're willing to lose. I know a few people who've lost more money than they've made...
None of that really costs an arm and a leg. Building stuff maybe, guitar is basically free once you have one, brewing is cheap and stocks are what you make them...

I agree with Camaro Dom on a serious note, researching stocks is addicting and fun, esp. if you play big on simulation sites, and invest small and smart. You can go night after night doing that, as for the homebrew that sounds quite interesting.

Have a couple kids and be a good parent to them. You then wont have to worry about free time at all.
