Duty tax for imported auto parts?

Is there a duty tax on aftermarker parts imported into Canada from the USA?

i dont feel like payin 40% on top of the original price cuz of customs. i know some stuff has duty like smokes, and booze. not sure about auto parts.

I just ordered a set of wheels from OE Concepts from Flordia. Expecting to pay roughly 60 cdn. duty when they come to the door. Looking on an Ebay chart, its roughly 6% of the purchse price of the item. I'll keep ya posted when they arrive in 2 weeks, 6% duty is alot sweeter than our f__n 15% sales tax! gotta love the US for that

k cool, cuz a buddy if mine got a pair of speakers of the net for 45 and payed like 45 for duty which is like 100% duty. i dont wana pay that much if im buyin like $600 worth of stuff. and it ends up being like a ridiculous amount.

6% isn't bad at all! Thats even better than the sales tax here in California.

i don't think i have to pay PST, just GST. Thats dec, cuz the TSP,the bilsteins,hawkpads,msd or taylor wires. are in the mail by the end of the week. i hope if ws6store has the bilsteins at there main store. i was gona have to pay double shipping for the KYB's to get em ..screw that>
