for the lvoe of god do not do this, I work for a bank and see way too many people get messed up in these, you are way too young to be thinking about it anyways. -

i agree with udlose, do not get one of those. will be the dumbest thing you've ever done. just go get a small personal loan from your bank. being 17 you might need a co-signer, but it's possible. i got a personal loan for $700 when i was 16, just needed my mom to co-sign the loan. got another loan when i was 17, but that was for a car. i've had like 4 loans since, so stick to the banks if you get any loan. they won't rip you off like a payday loan place. do yourself a favor, never think about those small loan places. you borrow $200, and pay back $400+, quite frankly that isn't worthwhile.Comment

My mom went to one of those places for $1k.
She always paid before it was due and more than the minimum amount.
She ended up paying $9k in the end
