No more manual cars for me...... I just can't do it..... and sucky part is, I really like manual cars!!!!

So, this is the beginning of the end of the era of SEXINESS! Yes.... the neon is for sale :cry:

Sucky part is, the car is in damn good condition, gets over 30 mpg daily, runs on regular and I have no complaints about the car!!!! Grrrr!

Now.... I have begun researching new beaters.
The 2007 E350 is for my fiance. I am pimping in her old 110,000+ mile elentra now

What I want out of a beater:
30 mpg
AUTOMATIC!!!!
Preferably FWD... but not necessary
Decent power - enough to go 14's in the 1/4 mile.
Preferably runs on regular

I'm stumped as what I should get.
C5's are nice and much cheaper now
I've looked into the dodge avenger
LS1 f body would be nice
Hell, I tossed around the idea of a v6 f body (3.8L)

Ugh, I don't know.... and unfortunately I'm not in the best position to be buying a new car. I need to do it soon.... but the neon must be gone first.

The new avenger is awsome. I'm surprised with dodge and how they have stepped up lately. I spent 30 minutes yesterday watching a new segment on the new avenger on the speed channel. Sharp car and has alot of potential.

I traded in my Bimmer beater for a VW Jetta beater. I average 28 MPG, and I drive like an idiot (ask Kristen and Shaun). It's a quick little car, but I don't see 14s in the 1/4 mile. Maybe a GTI for that?

The MazdaSpeed 3 comes with 263 HP. :-)

IMO, if you are looking for something that is reasonable on gas, peppy/fun to drive... AND and auto...

you are looking at something with an LS1/2/6 in it.
