Well you guys have to remember that most people who aren't into cars are happy to classify cars by color alone. I'll be happy if people can tell my car is a chevy....

My buddy put his 94 bird up for sale and it had the full T/A body kit on it. Some younger guy, prob 17 or so, came to look at it, brought his father. They both looked the car up and down. Had him start it. Never popped the hood, never drove it. Handed over much more than the car was worth. My buddy used some dealer plates to bring the car to the kids house. While driving the kid goes,

"This has the V8 right?"
"No, its the 6, but it gets good gas mileage."
"Oh."

He was silent for the rest of the ride. Mind you the car was advertised with the 6.

I know. I just had my friend make me a decal for my rear windshield saying "Just A 6". I've had so many people ask if it's an 8 or assume it's an 8 that it pissed me off enough to get a sticker made :P

I've had a few peeps ask if I have a V8.... despite the HUGE AZZ comeroV6.com windshield banners front & back.....

but then, I also been asked if I'm driving the the green (or blue, yes blue) car or the GP.
