why did it get towed?

not up to date with whats going on with o-town cars but might have been able to give a hand, its doubtful, since I work so much but maybe at least some advice. Only free time I had this last weekend I spent driving to tampa to pick up a 10-bolt.

I replaced all the hydraulics for the clutch

*Master'
*Slave'
*Lines'

and the clutch and to bearing itself shortly before that...

I kept bleeding and bleeding and I couldnt get the air out of the lines.

After replacing everything , theres just too many places for air to get stuck and i went through 4 bottles of brake fluid trying to bleed.

So i got pist, and frustrated and had it towed out (AAA = free tow)
Tranny shop charged me $20 bucks to do a power bleed.

grr... shoudl have just used a mighty vac. But I guess you are not out too much money.

that normal bleed procedure, It hink is just an inside joke with haynes manual authors...

Like telling you to disconnect teh battery when you cheange a flat tire.

I dont have a mity vac, or a vacular... or an aircompressor at that.
I was actually thinking about getting ahold of you, cuz i know youve done your tranny a few times.

I was just fed up with it all. The tranny shop actually told me it would be 150 bucks, but when i went there to pick the car up, he said " just gimme' 20 "

How often does that happen? A shop under-charges you....
