1. I'm sorry about your grandmother, but (i havent read your other post) if he hit her hard enuf to kill her, wouldn't he himself been in pretty bad shape? I dont know how you would get up and run away from that... especially cuz the car would be licensed to him and they'd get the VIN neways.
2. On this board, we do NOT endorse street racing in any way shape or form. if you do it, we dont want to hear about it. we do not want to hear bragging about putting your own and other innocent people's lives at stake. We've seen/heard about TOO many people dying or getting hurt from this stuff. Its why the NHRA was founded, and we want to keep it at that. Keep it on the track.
3. Could an admin PLEASE lock or delete this thread. this is useless and trollish. adds nothing to our board.

Why would I spend 10$ and the 45 min drive to the nearest drag strip when we can just go line them up a mile outside of town? Sorry I don't want to start an arguement but you have to understand where some of us are coming from on this whole "street racing" topic.

if youre that cheap you shouldnt be racing period then. (my 2 cents on that) if its outside of town somewhere where nobody is around maybe, but i prefer to know that there are 2 clear lanes for exactly 1/4 mile and proper saftey teams in place if i **** up.

street racing proves nothing more than who the bigger idiot is. in the original posters case, he racing thru traffic and deserves to be treated like a moron for putting other peoples lives in danger just because he wanted to "beat" a vette. funny thing is, the vette owner probably went home, posted about a idiot in a v6 being a douche on a v8 site and that then gives v8 owners another reason to cut on v6 owners such as most of the people on this board.
