Since I barely drovwe the car.... maybe 500-1000 miles a year I just had basic insurance on it.

Even if I had full insurance on it.... it is a 10 year old... 100,000 mile.... v6.

Insurance would give me virtually nothing.

I had the car open again today.... actually the t tops have been off for a couple days and there is still water in it.

I had some slight hope of saving the car..... but then I cut apart the carpet and saw even more mud and water.... it is just so bad.

My house is f*cked also.... I'm just at a loss for everything

house insurance might also cover your car, might be better than the auto insurance then

flood inssurance is separate from reg house insurance.

Also, in NJ Flood insurance is separate ........ atlantic city is a mandatory flood ins area meaning you HAVE to take flood ins........ our recent homes flood ins is more than our home owners ins ........but yet there hasn't been any claim since like 1950s....... James, please tell us you got flood ins?? ......... sorry about your ride? :( ........btw, where are the benz and neon?

James - I'm looking "High Performance Pontiac" Feb. 2003 vol. 21 no. 2. On the cover it say "How to Run 12s with a V6 Bird," then pg. 17 it say "Deep Six," "Is this nitrous-assisted, 12-second V6 Fourth-Gen. Firebird America's Fastest?"

You know I've seen articles of your bird in a couple of "Fast Ford and Mustang" mags. It's pretty inspiring how you spanked those V6 Stangs, even their own mag. admits it.

You and your bird has been an inspiration to me and it made me proud to be V6 owner and part of this F-body V6 community.

Please, whatever you do, do not get rid of the bird. If you can afford to purchase Mercedes Benzs, you can definately afford to rebuild this Firebird to its full glory.

Do whatever it is that you need to do for now--fix the house first, salvage things, and get your lives back on track again. Then afterwards build up the bird.

james... damn.. thats all i can say.. i mean, your car is somethign that i think anyone who knows anything about v6 fbodies, follows and and respects...

its a sad day to see it all leave..

is ther any hope? I mean, can you tear out all the interior and pressure wash it? hell, itd be extra weight savings to get that carpet out of ther..

hows the house man?? is everythign above the water ok? if you need anything, just let us know.. there are a ton of us who'd be willing to help...

Wow, thank you very much. This is why I consider you guys my internet-family.

I don't want to hi-jack this thread from James, but I want to say that God is awesome. He really came through to me. She was almost dead and considered not savable. But God saved her. I knew it wasn't her time yet and God was testing me again when it comes to my faith in Him.

It a very long story. I will post a thread on this later. Thank you for caring and for praying.
