WS6 Status

I know many of you deeply care about me and my car, so I created this thread. :P

This is what happened to the transmission http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=674282

It blew on the way home from the track. Stupid piece of **** stock 4l60e. Lost 3-4th gear. Clutch Pak is gone. Anyway's, it's been down for a few weeks, but I finally got some money together and bought some parts.

3500 Stall, Lvl2 Performabuilt Transmission - Inprogress
24k GVW Transcooler - Installed
A-pillar Gauge pod, Cyberdyne Digital Trans temp gauge - Installed
Walbro 255 fuel pump - Installed
XS Long Tubes - Installed
3.73 gear set - Pending this weekend
H-pipe and 2 1chamber mufflers - Pending this weekend
Oil Pan Gasket - Next weekend
Motor Mounts - Next weekend
Flush all fluids - Next weekend
Tune - Not sure, but soon

Right now as she sits, she's open headers with the Walbro255. It's loud. Really loud. I drove it around the neighborhood at 2am, when we finished. Good god. Anyways, this weekend is the Transmission install. I'm having a whole bunch of people come over and help. I'll have pics with dmw319 and several various others.

Yeah you'll love those XS headers once they're broken in and golden brown. Best bang for the buck bolt-on I've done so far.

Yeah, when I get her tuned, the EGR, AIR, TQ Management, Rear o2's, are all going bye bye. I also have purchased comp DR's from a friend. Traction ftmfw

Ok, The transmission is out of the car. However, the bellhousing flat out REFUSES to come off of the transmission. PB blaster, impact, everything. We broke 2 T50 Torx bits. So, the car is on jackstands in my friends garage until I can either get a shop to take off the bellhousing or just flat out buy a new one with normal bolts. It was actully much easier than I thought it would be. The only hard part was getting the top two bellhousing bolts to come off of the engine. Other than that it was a piece of cake.

The 24k GVW transcooler is hooked up correctly in front of the a/c condenser.
The Trans temp gauge is also hooked up and ready to go.
The rear end ( 3.73's + new LSD ) is ready go to in this weekend along with the rest of the exaust install. I'll update with pics later.
