i did the "search" and found the thread..big deal its a little old

the problem has'nt been solved or worked thru , aside from it fixing its self

anyone have any way to look up how many different problems could cause the car to go into that reduced power mode and only idle?

there is nothing to solve, its pretty self explanitory, the computer sees that something is not reading right in the engine so it inhibits the ability to accelerate as to not worsen something that could be wrong, but it doesnt shut down the car so you can safely get off the road, its a safeguard
