On my ticket it says I am a female with brown hair and i committed the offense at 11:00. But I'm actually a guy with black hair and it happened at 11:30. My court date is May 30th and I'm wondering if i can use this wrong information to my advantage. Can they discredit the ticket or something because the cop obviously didn't have a clue?

Re: Speeding ticket misinformation
IDk but it would be kinda funny to call the cop out on his lack of sight. Just to stick it to people when they screw up is so rewarding.Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

Originally posted by CamaroDudeIt was actually a girl, and I don't think I want to be jerk here cause I don't live in the state that I got the ticket in. So if they decide to give me community service it'll be quite a drive. And if being polite can help my position then I will do so.Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

Re: Speeding ticket misinformation
Its for 70 in a 55. I got the ticket on 301 in Virginia. And apparently for your first ticket in that state they give you the option of community service or the point on your license. I don't want the point due to insurance rates going up. Insurance is already ridiculous so I'd like to prevent it from increasing.2002 Red Camaro 3.8L<br />Monsoon stereo with T-Tops

Re: Speeding ticket misinformation
Ah yes, virgina. I got a ticket there too. Mine was 70 in a 55, having a radar detector and they charged me a $40 processing fee. Total was about $175 I think. I would still pay it and take the point, I hate court and wouldn't want to have to go in front of a judge even for the pettiest of things.Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
