Its for 70 in a 55. I got the ticket on 301 in Virginia.
was it in king george county? that's swhere those bastages nabbed me for my first ever speeding ticket in 90. 70 in a 55 right before the rt 255 turn off to rt 3. it's a good thing i slowed down for the light there. i hate driving thru that place, but it's faster than going over the new wilson brridge.
btw, the toll bridge was only 75 cents back then...... :poke:

bike cop? say u have no clue what the hell is happening( cameras not on bikes ) cruice (car) cop... dont really matter. yeah the information for a lawyer u could argue it and win.... shows he has enough error in the ticket there margin for error in the ticket, but if ur by urself u aint winnin....
You should just point out to the judge the mistake on the ticket and since your not a female with brown hair you couldn't of committed the offense in question. Most likely he will ask the officer about the ticket and if he doesn't have a really good excuse for mis-printing that information your ticket has to be thrown out. This is why they ask for drivers license and ask if it is current, so they can copy the information down correctly. The officer then will be b!tched out by the judge for wasting the courts time and his Sgt. will be giving him an ear full on how to fill out a simple ticket. I know the law here in AZ the ticket would be thrown out in a heartbeat. Thats why on search warrants if you miss anything on the name, address or description of items the charges are thrown out of court.

So it's a general agreement that I cannot use the fact that the cop wrote incorrect information on the ticket to my advantage?
IDK, I would think it would show that the cop wasn't on their toes that night. If they can't get the color of hair and sex correct on the ticket, how did they know which car to pull over? Maybe it wasn't even you they were trying to pull over. Maybe you weren't speeding.

That is actually EXACTLY where it was. Thats kind of spooky. And I hate this 3$ for the toll crap.

^ That makes a lot of sense. But I'm not a very good liar so I dunno how well that'd work. But it does seem like it'd work if i could convince myself to do it

Another question I was wondering is wether or not the points on your license really affects your insurance rates? I've heard that it can dramaticly increase and I've also heard that is a sort of urban myth.
