Firebird=saturn.

I was thinking the other day, how late 4th gens are described as catfishes or sebrings, and early 4th gens as geos. Firebird never seems to be compaired to anything. On the road the other day, i noticed a car with a striking resemblance to early 4th gen firebirds! The 1991-1996 Saturn SC2 Coupe.

Just thought i would point it out, and this is what i will be calling firebirds from now on, since all you saturn owners call my car a geo and the newer maros sebrings/catfish etc




not only does the front bear a striking resemblance, but the back does too!

honestly, i think it bears more of a resemblence to a sunfire...

I do see the similarity, but I do have to agree with Camaro Dom that it looks more like a Sunfire. All 3 cars have similar features though.

There are only so many things you can do with the body style of a car... some of them are bound to be similar.

A guy I work with pointed out that the nose of my car (93 Bird) looks like a Vette. I told him he was nuts, but then I saw a Vette driving down the road and he had a point. I am not sure of the year, but it is a newer model, and it has indentations similiar to the Firebird fog light indentations.

I forgot to add, who stole from who??? Did Chrysler (Sebring) steal the Camaro style or was it the other way around because they sure do look the same.

ok look...

Camaros look like Cavaliers and Firebrid look like Sunfires. It was meant to be. Newer Cavaliers have 93-96 style Camaro tail lights with the same general body lines and Sunfire have the High Rise Spoiler like the Trans Am with the same more bubbly body lines...only difference is it looks like the Cavalier and Sunfires were squished to be a foot smaller.

My friend has a black saturn and I have a black firebird and still see NO resemblence whatsover. You know what firebirds look like... Corvettes!
