First Car Show

Im going to my first car show on Sunday in Lowell Mass. Its near my sisters college and im going to go with my cousin. I got the bird and im gonna make it look real nice. I should be taking pics when its nice and waxed.

what kind of car show... a get together, sponsored, awards...???

Are you entering your car?

If you are then wash it before you go and find a place to wash it there. Wax Polish whatever makes it look good. Clean up the engine bay, if you have a nice bay then open the hood, if not then leave it ajar so people can look if they want. Enjoy the weather, relax, and take A LOT of PICTURES!!!

im def going to charge the camera and get as many as i can, and of the other cars. im not sure exactly what it is, my sister just asked if i wanted to go and i said sure. im bringing my car, gonna make it look good, if i can park it with everyone else, then, sweet deal, if not, oh well, it will still look nice.

to be honest, i havent even seen the engine bay yet...

but yea, whats peoples preference on waxes and brands and everything. and is paint thinner a good way to get off bumper sticker residue?

OMG NOOOOOOOOO!!!

It will get off the residue along with your clearcoat and paint. First clean the car so any dirt is gone. Then use goo gone on the section. Clean that off and put some wax on it.

geeze, some of you guys are touchy, haha (but, i know i should have waited so, sorry to those i got angry, lol)

but yea, i was thinking the same thing about the paint thinner when my friend suggested it to me, but i was just making sure. i have pictures of the firebird in my other thread called "Damage and New Car" or something like that. Its all stock, its been my dads for a few years now, i was too busy with my camaro to ever care to check out the firebird but now its my top priority. its been neglected for too long, lol. so yea, i havent really checked out the engine bay yet but im going to try and make it look nice for the show.
