It cost 30 grand back then... I don't know what that is now, but If I had enough to buy a special edition camaro next year then I might save it too.

and my friends dad went out and bought a CETA trans am in 2002 or w/e and its been sitting in a garage ever sinse.

I remember about 2 year ago seeing a 69 camaro with 25x miles on it... went over 100k easily. I think the guys even said he bought it to give it to his son, but his son didn't want it so he just held on to it planning to either sale later or make it a drag car. Finally it sat for years and years... next thing you know - $$$$$

There is going to be no point in buying this car to just see it in a garage...I would want to hear the thing run, seeing as how the person that has it probably has never started it up except for the 9.9 miles he put on it back in '87 to get it home haha. If I want a car that I've lusted for for years when I have the money..I wouldn't let it sit in a garage, I can tell you that much lol.

That's pretty amazing. A friend of my mom's bought a Grand National a few years back. Amazing top-notch collectors edition with super low mileage, but definitely more than 9, lol. I remember when he pulled up to our house in it, I was just drooling.... and begging to drive it!

I would want to drive it too, but if you think about it... its a smart investment! If you can afford a new camaro ss then get one and take really good care of it, hell make it a once a month driver and it will be worth a lot in about 20 or 30 years.
