hey theres noone saying there wont be a firebird in the future...u never know maybe camaro will succeed and then have a different retro t/a come out afterwards...
its funny how mad comero owners get. face people pontiac > chevy
g5 > cobalt
solstice > nothing
g6 > malibu
gp > monte and impaleya
gto > nothing
the next gto, if it happens, will look better than the new comero. and if by chance the bird comes back it'll make the comero old news. the only thing chevy has is the vette and face people, most of us cant afford the top of the liner. (unless youre lambo101 then you can buy like 30 of them)

You guys should be pumped only the camaro is coming out in 09. The years when there is a camaro, but not a firebird are the only years the camaro can looked better.
simply the firebird looks more race ready. It has better curves and looks of a race car. Where as the camaro just look plain. Its a sports car because it is rwd and two door but its just too plain. I really wanted a camaro, but then I found a firebird and changed my mind quickly.
Looks more race ready? All those extra fins and curves and lines just make it look like its trying too hard.
"Hey everybody, look at me! I have a whole bunch of lines and curves! I'm trying to look fast, don't I look fast? Don't I? Can't you tell by my curves and body lines?! I'm just as fast as a camaro, honest!"
Camaro's are like slick bullets. They are streamline and smooth. Their aerodynamics is what makes them look fast.
Firebirds on the other hand, are not smooth. They've got things sticking every which way that serve no purpose. They remind me of a younger brother trying way too hard to live up to his older brother's reputation.
didnt u guys ever here camaro is poor mans vett and firebird is poor mans camaro. LOL

i was just kidding i like them both but i got an 02 mara for 150$ and it only needed 2000$ in repairs. Only v6 but they r the same just different looking. It depends on what you like. If u like alot of apperence items go with the bird. If u like clean cars with not much going on go with the maro.
