by not working on such a nice car i mean, i want to learn more about cars and working on them...and i dont want this to be the car i practice on... i want to learn painting, engine swapping, suspension work, etc...and i dont want to screw up this car like that...so i figured id buy something not as nice and try everything i want on that car.

buy a beater, that car is beautiful:rolleyes:

I'd keep it and get a beater to work on. That's what I'm planning on doing. I decided that it's not worth it to start modding the heck out of my Camaro and eventually being forced to buy it from my parents (the actual owners of the car) because of all the crazy stuff I did to it. Instead I'm planning on keeping the Camaro in nice shape, daily driving it, and buying a 1g eclipse or talon tsi (awd turbo, lots of fun) to play around with. That way I don't have to worry about it if my toy car doesn't run for a week because the engine is out or whatever.

yea i agree with everyone else..you should keep the car and learn your stuff to work on it......hey i wanted to learn how to paint, was too scared because i thought i would **** up the door panels and you know what i did!!! was mad but hey their replaceable and was planning on replacing them anyways....at least i learned that i should do my homework b4 i try anything like, and now i do, thats y im here, to learn before i go and do it, an ppl here have been pretty helpful.....thnx guys, im a noob in training, but now i know more than most people i talk to and can spread the knowledge....you should keep the car cause A. It looks great B. You've got people right here that can help you along the way and (which is most important) C. You dont really want to get rid of your car

car is worth 5-6k maybe less...


you can get ls1s in the $7-8k in Orlando. I'd stick with it and mod it, if you really need a 2nd car get something old and cheap.
