  • BMW breast cancer experience

So my buddy calls me today to let me know that a BMW dealership here in Lexington is allowing BMW test drives on a 15 miles course. Since we are not over 25 we couldn't take a few of the BMW's but we did take a X5and 328 convertible. It was a blast... here are a few pics.

Don't be jealous that we had a better day then you already.

I really didn't like the BMW that much. It had too much technology. I mean, it had a menu button! It took me 5 minutes to figure out the radio. I think for the money, I'd want something faster and less technology based. But I can see why alot of people stay with BMW's after they have one.

EVERYONE hates the iDrive system. Thankfully, my car did not have it. Forgetting the technology, what did you think of the ride quality?

I was really impressed with the following: comfort of interior, didn't feel the bumps in the road, the power of the M5 was pretty impressive (room for improvement), not alot of room but you hug turns like you are in a car. I would reccomend the M5 to anyone who wants something to use to take the family in... but as for a weekend machine it wasn't much.

The 328 didn't have any power at all (but it is the base model) but it handled like it was on rails... it was very comfortable and had somewhat more room then the firebird, but not much (it was a convertible).

I'm not a huge BMW fan and wouldn't spend the money for one of these because I can think of something I would like better for the price, but I for people who want luxury and performance (and style) in a car thats not so much sporty, but yet elegant.

The M5 is a sports car. You must be talking about the X5.

The 328 is under powered. The 330 has a little more kick. On rails is an understatement. I scared myself a few times trying to get it to break traction.

I'd buy an M3 in a heartbeat if I had the money. black on black.

                    Re: BMW breast cancer experience

Yeah, there is no way they would let you guys drive a M5. It's a 500hp V10 sedan. The picture with you in the vehicle is a X5.

I've driven the latest gen X5 and a 530i. I hated the 530i. I thought it was slow and handled like poo. The X5 however was surprisingly fun for an SUV though. I love driving events where you can just beat on random cars.

I use to love bimmers, but lately seeing all the jerks who drive 3 series makes me really not want one. Plus, all the bangle cars are butt ugly. The E30, E36, and E46 M3s will always have a place in my heart though. I would have to go with laguna seca blue or imola red.

i was gonna say..what do you mean the M5 handles like a car and has room for improvement in performance? those things broek 100k so i can't see how you'd get one of those. Definitely an X5.

Sorry guys I ment X5... the pick of the one with the autographs on it is a M5. They had M5's for people to drive but you had to be 25 or older.

Is that Tracy Morgan in the drivers seat?

Btw, I saw one (BMW M6) of these in the "physicians" parking lot the other day.

I had to stop and look at the car. It's pure se x
