I'm not sure if it's everybody in the F-body community, but everytime I drive down the road and I see a fellow F-body driver, I feel the need to greet them. About 3 out of 4 greet back, but the rest just look at me like I must be crazy. I was just wondering who here does the same, I just thought it was kinda a "secret code" among F-body owners as my little sister calls it.

Oh.. wait... I only get what your talking about when I'm in my Jeep or on the moto... never when I was in the Camaro.

Really? I always get it from F-bodies... I know when you're in a bike, thats a must.

I usually try to rev at em if I see their younger, most sports car owners around are old people. I passed a whole line of ss and z28's they all revved at me with their nice v8's I revved back with my stock 6 and sunk a little lower in my seat, just a little embarrased.

I wave at other Firebirds all the time. Sometimes they wave back. Sometimes they look at me like I grew another head.:)

I give the wave. When my old roommate bought a jeep I had to tell him why people were waiving at him. He thought I was crazy then he was waving all the time like a little kid.

I get a lot of "the look" from Camaros and TA's like they want a piece. I usually don't pay much attentions to V6ers.

i try to greet other fbod people at the track. usually theyre the only ones who know a damn thing about fbodies, around town,most i give a wave and thats it.

i wont lie, i give the v6s the rev treatment too.

everyone here knows if they had a V8 theyd do some revving too
i really apreciate and have respect for guys with SS' and T/A's that if i pull up and talk to them they give me the time of day


usually the case is "ya man u got time, i used to have a V6 before i bought this" which gives me hope for the future lol

i mean an Fbod is a Fbod...the ONLY difference is theirs (usually) goes faster

I always try to meet other F-Bod owners. I'll be driving around, and I'll completely turn around just to be able to wave at the dude driving the car. Usually I just give them a rev, and then they give a rev back :D . I'm gonna have to start passing out flyers for my local club :)
