I get more waves in my 99 firebird than i do in my 86 iroc. Most TAs and SS that I pull up next to in the iroc rev at me and I rev back, then they get all pissed and honk at me. It doesn't make sense. I even had a guy ask me if my iroc had 700hp. He was amazed when I told him my v6 will pull on it. I guess since i have no exhaust (only headers and cut off after that) people think it has a lot of power. they hate to see young people with fast cars :(

I only get an acknowledgment from people with NICE f-bodies (I.E ones that are well cared for, modified.) Everyone else driving them around doesn't give a ****.

That's what I do..... and just like he ^^^^^ said, most people that greet me in any way are f-bodies that are really well taken care of and modified

I usually wave. I did see a fellow F-body this weekend that had a big APC sticker on his windshield. I had to stop and beat him to death with his own shoe.

Oh.. wait... I only get what your talking about when I'm in my Jeep or on the moto... never when I was in the Camaro.

The Jeep wave was mandatory in the YJ. Only YJ's and TJ's waved back though. I miss my Jeep. :( Alllmost bought another one when I sold my bimmer, but I knew I'd spend a crapload on mods for that and take money away from my car.

Back to the regularly scheduled thread: Once in a great while I get an f-body wave, but I don't hand them out. Nobody rev's at me.

I usually try to rev at em if I see their younger, most sports car owners around are old people. I passed a whole line of ss and z28's they all revved at me with their nice v8's I revved back with my stock 6 and sunk a little lower in my seat, just a little embarrased.

Yep i know the feeling...lol not much growl to the stock 6ers and i dont think the stock exhaust off a t/a helped much but hey what ever works right? now i rev with da double fart pipe...lol
