I think the mouth of the Cobra was sewned shut. Notice how the mouth doesn't open when it bites. Or else the baby would be dead.

I saw that on the news yesterday, and they said it was for some ritual thing or something. The mouth was tied/sewned shut. They also said that the baby was not hurt. Pretty weird ritual if you ask me.
