My Fiero GT has a 2.8 with 140hp and 170tq. The weight advantage is a big plus.

This thing feels fast and corners like a champ eventhough the engine has 200k and is crapping out and the bushings in my suspensions are toast it still has alot of mmmpppfff and does awesome corner turns.

It will beat a stock 3.8 F-body 0-40mph but it will go down after that. So far I've taken out 2007 Nissan Frontier with 261hp 0-50mph then the Frontier passed me and I got nothing left. I took out a Mustang V6, Nissan Sentra, modified Civic, Silverado, and 3rd gen Camaro V8.

No not really.

The 1984 iron duke had fuel line issue which the car catches on fire. But that was fix, but the rep. damage has already been done.

the 83 2.8 v6 i have has 107hp stock so i read on a 3rd gen site...and gradually got more hp over the years...but not much

difference isnt too much... when my car was 100% stock i raced a 3.4 100% stock, and i beat it by half a car.

Might wanna check your car out. Theoretically, you're supposed to be like 2 seconds quicker in the 1/4 which is like.....a bunch of lengths.

2 seconds?? uh no man i read the timeslips on stock 3.4's and 3.8's i read a 97 3.8l firebird ran a 15.5 and the 93 3.4l camaro listed ran a 16.8 thats not 2 seconds hes right thats about half a car or so pending on the drivers...scott probly didnt get the best start and the 3.4 did and maybe got closer to him but 3.8's aint 2 seconds faster

Well I did say "like" 2 seconds. 1.3 is close enough.

1.3 seconds is roughly the distance between a stock LT1 Camaro and a Stock 3800 6er.

So...

And 1.3 seconds in a 1/4 mile isnt EVEN close to half a car.

you guys know that the 16.8 is for the auto the stick is quite a bit faster i'll get official times as soon as i can get to the track
