    Re: 2 questions

Year, mileage, condition, etc of block. What would have happened to cause you to think it is cracked? Was it being run and now you think it is cracked?

        Re: 2 questions

To answer number 1: Yes, technically because the v6 is located behind the front axel our cars are mid-engined. But for all intents and purposes people concider them front engined.

Did you ever think you have a bad head gasket? LIM gasket? UIM gasket? TB gasket? And you sure all of your coolant hoses are in good condition?

Check the oil lately? If it was a head gasket, either it would leak down the side of the motor, or it would be getting into the oil/cylinder. My guess is that if it isn't in the oil, its burning up in the motor somehow.

How often/how much are you adding? How often?

Mid Engine cars are described as being cars with an engine BEHIND the driver, but in front of the rear axle. Front engine cars are cars where the engine is both infront of the driver and rear axle, and a rear engine car is where the engine is behind the rear axle.

You're right, i should be more specific; our cars are front mid engined.
