  • A story of a Firebird

I bought my 93 3.4 firebird at the end of last summer, had it for a couple months, put it away for the winter and started saving up my money. The car came to me bone stock, and with a few nicks and dings which i fixed first. Anyhow, the winter is far from ended and from march until now i have added these things to my ride.

    1. Flowmaster 80 Catback
    2. Catco high flow cat
    3. Accel Spark Plug wires
    4. NGK Plugs.
    5. K&N CAI
    6. Honey Comb Tail Lights
    7. ASA JS5 Wheels
    8. 180 Thermostat
    9. Underdrive pulley
    10. Jet Chip Stage 2

on top of that, i did almost every maintenence option, such as tranny fluid and filter, oil fluid and filter, coolant change, pcv valve, fuel filter , so on and so forth.

I've also done a few appearance mods besides the wheels and tail lights such as white rally stripes and removing the side moulding for a clean look. I even went as far as painting my calipers and brake drums (don't worry the drums are black now)

I've put a lot of money into my car and i love it more than any girl could understand. I'm getting new tires tomorrow and after that i'm drawing a blank. This is my hobby and i don't want it to end here. I made a list in the winter of all that i wanted to do and it will be complete as of these new tires. I need new ideas. Anything would be useful. Appearance and performance wise where do i go from here? If you had this car what would you be looking at next on your list of mods?

dont let my dreams be dashed upon the white cliffs of dover, i need ideas people.

new heads, cam, valvetrain, intake manifold, gears, driveshaft, new suspension setup, computer tune, weight reduction, really the best thing is to research. You know your budget put together a list of parts based on that, if that's what you've done so far then the list is pretty long for what you can do.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.

i'm a fan of the driveshaft notion, i tend to stay away from serious engine work such as cam and what not, i suppose i could get some new headers but you all know it costs a left nut to put those on at least if you get some good ones, i like the driveshaft idea, i hadn't thought of that lately, whats that run around 2 i think for the aluminum right? good for a couple horses. thanx for the idea

It's an aluminum driveshaft from an ls1 f bod. You should be able to pick one up fairly cheap around 100-150 from ls1tech or ebay.

That's too bad, because I can make your car into what you want it to be, not to mention my own car is much more modded and substantially faster than yours. But, when you give me lame answers like "i want more powah" when i ask you what your goals are, you get lame responses.
