  • Uncommon variations of common cars

Saw this on another board, and thought it was kind of interesting.

Post up pictures and some brief info on any uncommon variations of common cars, such as rare editions of cars, or that were only a few made. Anything along those lines.

Could the Malibu Maxx SS count? I've never seen one on the road. Don't want to either.

Stripes, wheels, badges, and exhaust tips.

Sounds like appearance to me. Just because it doesnt have ground effects doesnt mean it doesnt deserve the RS badge.

My mom's got a Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback, which here in the US was only produced for 1 year (2004). So i'd say that makes it a rare edition of a common car :D

                  V **** you're right... sorry.

Back in 89, I was driving a hatchback version of the Z-24. Had a big honkin' spoiler and all that. I took the springs out and slapped some 195/50 15 rubber on it, which put the oil pan 1 inch from the ground. Drove like hell, but I had fun with it.

I've always liked the daytonas for some reason... A guy near me has a pretty nice one.
