I was just wondering is anybody knew of any racing games that are played on line. I remember i used to play motor city online a couple years ago and loved it. But i lost my code so i could subscribe. Anyway i am just looking for another online racing game simulator. Thanks

    Re: Online racing games

I haven't been there in forever, but I used to play one called Midnite Challenge. It's www.midnitechallenge.com I believe.

EDIT: Yep, that's it. just resigned up since I haven't been there in forever. It's a browser based racing kinda thing. not exactly what you wanted, but it helps pass the time :p. I'm RadRacer513, message me if ya want.

PC, or console? Forza Motorsport 2 is coming out next week, and GTR is supposed to be heading over to the 360 sometime...

For PC, Live For Speed is a great game. So is GTR and GTR 2, both are great if you like simulations.

TM Nations is pretty cool. I always play that, because you can build your own tracks and load them up online for everyone to play. It's basically formula racing, but all you can really do is paint your car, you can't modify it under the hood any.
But, it's very competitive, and a good way to pass the time.

The demo is out on Xbox Live, if you have a 360 and a Live account. Fun stuff, too bad my roommate took his plasma back home... :(

i have GTR2, but got tired of it very quickly, dont get it unless u have steering wheel/pedals..
Need for speed games are great imo, cant go wrong with that series..
then you always have gran turismo series.. i never liked forza or test drive.

Edit: eh u said online, duh, for get gran turismo then.

I used to play Need For Speed Underground 2 on PS2 online so much... I haven't played in months, but it was a really fun game.

Grand Prix Legends and GT Legends.. they're a bit old now but still the best.

                          Re: Online racing games

GTR2 is the best real simulation available. I agree it needs a wheel/pedals, just like a real car does.

A league is the best place to online race, otherwise you have to deal with a lot of idiots who come online just to crash people. Here's a place to look for a suitable one:
