Ok getting back to the point.

All Dan ever said was that his car sounded that BA "Badass" throughout the powerband, never said anything about a v8.

And... it does, sound badass throughout the powerband.

wow. just mf'n wow. seems a lot of the members do have vaginas and thers an awful lot of sand in them.
for starters, one persons interpertation of sounding "bad a**" and another persons interpertation of the same can be two very different realities. just like peoples interpertations of a car being "fast".
ill give ya this udlose98, your car does sound better than i expected, but not bad a**. it sounds like a v8 with 2 dead cylinders. perhaps if you had put some exhaust on, it would sound ten times better. however that would require finishing it, which you have stated you are giving up. personally i cannot see how someone would put so much time and money into a project of that proportion, get so close to finishing it.... and then give up.
i dont know how many of my hot rods i was so close to throwing in the towel but looking at how much time, money, blood, sweat, tears, and everything else we spend on our beloved rides, that i could not just give up.
imo you need to finish that car (please add some sort of exhaust consisting of more than a turbo and a downpipe) and post some timeslips that will make people shut the hell up. myself and smoke panther.... cause sound isnt everything.

hehe like the sound of the exhuast valves slamming shut, that has to be open down pipe, for those that know that "popping" you hear (that sound higher and fast then a rod knock) is the exhaust valve slamming shut

I have seen your can in person Dan and it does look quite good, even though when i was down there it wasnt put together yet. It sounds amazing to me, wish i could atleast get mine to sound somewhat close to that. Good luck with the car and selling and hope to see you driving around in a new vehicle!

wow all this fighting over and exhaust sound...personally i think the car sounds bad as hell and i could only wish mine could sound like that and not to start anything else back up but how can u sit there talking about his car smokepanther when his car can eat urs up anyday and he has so much more money and time in it......i say if u have a problem about a lil joke he posted about it sounding like a Z then maybe u should stop visiting this forum

No, it won't. He's ran a personal best of 15.3 with his heads/cam/turbo. I've ran a personal best of 14.2, and my car can run 14.4's without even trying.

he has so much more money and time in it......
