ah, so it was the just the heads/cam that got him that blazing 15.3, then promptly killed his car...well, killed it the first time. That's so much better than what I got from skimming his car's obituary, thanks for clarifying

Do you realize how big of a toolbag you are? He said it sounded BA thru the whole RPM range. WHICH IT DOES! I've heard it from riding in the passenger seat. No video does justice. I've heard it from blocks away. It sounds awesome! He NEVER said it sounded like an 8. Do you know how to drop things? Let it go man, holy ****.

i read the first 8 pages of this and had to stop. not i have some things to say after my week long vaca lol.

1. Dan, ur car RUNS, u can DRIVE IT NOW. unfortunately i would not give up at this point and you shoudlnt either. it just seems like time and money wasted, i mean its all tedius things now. o and ur car sounds good, not like a V8 but i kno by now u didnt mean for it too.

2. Smoke Panther is a jerk, but i think u guys blew it outta proportion. I also always though u had a green firebird 93-97? whered that go/who is that?

3. I thought people liked Blldog? I do at least?

I don't think you read the whole thread then. At least, maybe he didn't say it here. You can see the car running/driving, but you don't see all of the other things. It is still smoking like crazy, and while that may be a simple fix, he won't be able to enjoy driving it. Especially as a DD. Listening for every possible sound, checking every gauge over and over again to keep an eye on everything. It definitely think it wouldn't be fun. The decision has been made and begun. I'm going with him to see a car this afternoon.

Compared to it's low RPMs, it's high RPMs are garbage, therefore it does not sound "BA thru the whole RPM range."

On this subject, with the exception of this post, I have been responding to attacks and/or questions brought directly to me. As a matter of fact, I was content to let this thread go until black95maro addressed me directly.

Do you guys spin some type of F-body wheel-of-fortune whenever you think of my car? I mean, I can understand UDLOSE98 saying I have a bolt-on 3.4, since that's all he can outrun with a 15.3 ET...but a green 93-7? I've only owned one f-body, and that's a silver 1999 Firebird.

I think whats causing so much drama is that UDLOSE said his car sounded "BA" all the way through the RPM range.

Obviously, what sounds BA to one person may not sound the same way to the rest, thus its a conflict of interest.

Personally, I dont think the car sounds BA. I think its border-line annoying and I dont blame him for giving up on it cause I wouldnt want to drive it either.
