EDIT: reading the comments, I see he has a magnum...so apparently, the trick is to go fast in a slow looking car, rather than go fast in a fast looking car

yeah... the only magnums i like are the ones in the island

I got away with 95 in a 55... the sheriff said he was young once and the fact I did it on a rode with no traffic that he gave me a warning. he also stated that if I ever exceed the limit by 1 then he will arrest me :)

Yea.. hell, one might even go to court to fight that thing
And get away with fighting it as well. When I was about 17...the time I started getting speeding tickets, I wanted to be cocky and fight them. That's when I learned that our police force was so small, that the cops weren't even able to take the time off to show up at court, so it was easy to fight the ticket and get out of it, and keep your record clean.
I got off for 135, in a 55 in my 3rd gen...(silver with black wheels, and blackouts)
also got off for 105 in a 45, but he pulled me over "just" over the county border and it was a county sheriff
also got off on drag racing, raced a jetta 3 times in my 94 camaro, and apparently the cop was behind us for the 2nd 2 runs.
even got a wreckless driving ticket, automatic court date, for going 10 over the limit, and changing lanes with no signal. On campus... when it was empty and closed for christmas break.
but I have also gotten tickets for 9 over the limit, on open roads with no one around. so go figure.

Yea its funny what you can get away with sometimes and what you can't. I got pulled over for merging out of a left turn only lane, when earlier i was doing 110mph and driving like a nutter..
