What kind of gas mileage do you get?

Just curious.... Please be honest, this isn't a **** measuring contest, just seeing where I am at and if I need to look into anything on my car. And you guys can do the same.

List your car, mileage, style of driving, and what kind of driving.

2000 3.8L 5-speed, 3.23 gears.

All city, like 22mpg
Mixed, I get about 24-26 mpg
Highway, I have gotten in the 27-28s.

I drive aggressive, I will mix it up and be a little conservative, but I row it through the gears, at least once a day... Especially near the entrance to my neighborhood


I have gotten as bad as 18mpg in all city, and even got 27 mpg all city.




No debates of gas, prices etc... just looking into since, I have put 9,000 miles on my car since Xmas, do to work. I don't normally travel, but they have been having me do it. I get reimbursed, actually more then reimbursed on gas, but more gas I save, more money I make :)

and if anyone cars, 5.0 got 18mpg, mostly city, some highway, and a trip to the track. Mostly raggin on it, but sometimes drove conservatively. But I can 2nd gear start it, shift to 4th, then to 5th and keep up in traffic.

Ok here's the deal. Right now my fuel gage is at exactly in the middle and I have 235 miles. Hmmm, how many of you guys think that I can hit 430 miles this tank? BTW, I got 15.5 gallon tank.

last time i measured straight out was mostly highway speeds but overall mixed..i got 27.8 .. I don't drive aggresively but i floored it a few times for passing. Haven't measured my in town driving officially but it's probably not much better than 20.

you can't go by the needle, I have had it say 250 and be above the 1/2 mark. Doesn't mean I was going to hit 500 miles for the tank.

I have hit 420... though, I had like 410, and just had to squeeze it to 420 just for giggles.

97 Camaro M5 with Cat-Back, intake, alum. DS, and gutted cat.

Currently pulling around 25ish, depending on how much I race. Miles are about 70% city, 30% highway. Best I've seen is 31 all highway, before tune up, worst has been 21. I Love my car :D I've pulled 380 miles and not used a full tank. I drive it like I stole it too. My car's too nice to me, it's just gonna turn around and kick me in the *** one of these days :P

I get crap gas mileage :( Probably for a number of reasons, but i'm not really bothered by it that much.

Best I ever got was 26.5 or so and it was 90/10 highway. I've hit 410 miles a few times but only a few in 6 years. Right now I'm getting 22.5 with about 50/50 highway/city. Worst I ever got was 12 and it was 1/4 mile up the hill and back down to work. Tank lasted for ever in terms of weeks but I had no distance whats so ever.

<10 City/ 20 Hwy

Untuned, with huge fuel pump, long tubes, H-pipe dumped, fouled plugs because it's running so GD rich, and 3500 stall converter. I don't forsee it getting much better after the tune. :\

Aggressively driven, city with moderate rush hour traffic, back roads with a few stop signs = about 18.5 MPG

The most I've gotten since the rebuild was 248 miles on a tank. I still have the 2.73s in the rear.
