1. Complete bolt ons and everything besides internals before winter
2. Internals, really raising all the money I can to pay off my debt and create a mod-fund (already a good chunk of each. paycheck going to this). If all goes as I plan it, I can get the internals done when it's in storage this winter
haha, i had a similiar gameplan when i started modding my car...but, the thing is, when we looked at my old, rusted manifolds on my '99, we guessed that we'd probably break a stud when trying to get them off. If that happens, we'd have to pull the heads, and pulling the heads is like 2 steps past doing a cam swap...so, we just opted to do the headers and cam install at the same time. That way, instead of potentially turning a 8 hour operation into 22 hour operation, we would be risking turning a 20 hour operation into a 22 hour operation.
So, on a '96 that has 11 years of rust and build-up on your manifolds, it's much less riskier and much more time-efficient to do the cam and header install at the same time ;)

Yea, I forgot to say that...I'm waiting on headers for exactly that reason, my head bolts look rusty, and I cant imagine trying to tap one of those out with the head on in the cramped space...
If I can find a good deal and have money, my order of operation will change, or at least start a parts-pile like viper in the shop...
I'm going to have to pull the engine and possibly get it inspected or rebuilt, so I can do alot of stuff while it's out this winter

yea, just buy parts as you can afford them. Nothing keeps you motivated and on-track like a pile of performance parts sitting on your floor rather than installed on your car

That sounds like me i've got stuff sitting and waiting to be installed.

So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
