I had a co-worker who had one of those cars once.. wasn't reliable at all. He used to tell me that back in 1988 it was an expensive "super car" (yea right), then when he was push starting it i'd tell him it was more like an expensive turd..

this is just to replace my current beater
... if the bird doesnt work out and i part it out ill prolly get a 98+ one ... or something liek that ... liek i said im not buying it to race or anything...just better then what i got now

dude honestly, you are frustrated, with car not being finished, and your DD sucking ***...

I can tell you those things suck ***, only reason I bring it up, is

1, friend of mine almost bought one and saw how unreliable they were and decided on getting a used LT1 because it was more reliable(yes, his research found an lt1 to be more realiable)

2, I only know one guy that mods one, he will talk it up, but he spent a small fortune on it, and it runs mid 13s, he brings other older supra guys by and half to them, there cars have running issues.

3, you are dumb if you are getting it for a DD, unless its for less then $1k.

x2, stop buying cars that are older than you :poke:. Your perfect DD would be a 98+ Honda civic lx/ex. They are awesome DD. Very easy to maintain, awesome gas mileage and reliable. If my camaro wasn't a DD, that's the only DD I would drive. Stop throwing away your hard working money!

x2, stop buying cars that are older than you :poke:. Your perfect DD would be a 98+ Honda civic lx/ex. They are awesome DD. Very easy to maintain, awesome gas mileage and reliable. If my camaro wasn't a DD, that's the only DD I would drive. Stop throwing away your hard working money!

shush... 98 civic is gunna cost quite a bit more... besides this isnt all im looking at, i found a few trucks two... cause i wanted one next winter anyways ..but i dont want gas to be a killer....

my hard earned money anyways ... so oh well ... no more is going into the bird so what else am i gunna waste it on
