my best buddy has got one of those. Damn that thing pulls nice. He has a twin turbo planned in his near future too...can't wait to feel it after that :)
Yea they really do! The back seat is even more comfortable than his old Audi. Although it took me all of about 15 minutes to break the door lock knob off.....

I don't know if you mean this as in insult but others do and I do not see how it is suppose to be offensive. is the gto a remake of the Monaro? yes. your point is? introducing the Monaro as the GTO was intentional. GM wanted to bring the Monaro to America. using a platform, style design, and parts for other cars is the business of auto manufacturing. doing so allows these cars to be as cheap as they are. every car manufacture does it and same goes for your car.
Nice goat! I have the same year and color...good choice!
Already started mildly modding mine. CAI is on, IAT Reloation harness is already in the mail & on it's way to me, and I have a set of drag slicks with 18" MSR 044 rims sitting in the garage for Race Day! Getting rid of the 2 rear mufflers this week, and I'll be doing headers and high flow converters sometime this summer.
Not doing anything crazy to the engine until the warranty is up.

Chill man, i doubt it was an insult. Although like you said its not really an insult anyway. People can say "oh well the GTO is an austrailian car" and its like.. uh.. yea so what? Its still a brilliant car. Hell even Jeremy Clarkson likes one (which pleased my dad a lot, haha)
