I love Camaros, but after getting the C6, there is no way I'll go back. There is a BIG difference between the two cars, its not just about hp.

Funny you should ask this, as this was on my mind all weekend. I'm seriously considering going with a Z06, provided it's no more than 3 years old and under 24K miles.

The new Z06's are killer. There's a bright yellow one for sale up here in a BMW lot. Guess they couldn't afford it or something... it's sweet. I think I'm liking the idea that there are only 2 seats in the Vette. I don't use my backseat anyway.. even in my commuter car. Plus, I think that lightens the car up a little.

its a tough call, i dont think you can go wrong w/ either. both are going to have models over 500 hp in 2009... its just you'll probably spend less for a similarly powered camaro. I really cant answer that for you b/c i'm torn myself really...

I was looking at a 04 Z06 this weekend... black... nice. Only has 18K on it. They wanted $34,995. I didn't think that was too bad.

Before you buy, check the specs on the Z51 C6's. The '05s are about the same price, with similar hp#'s

Yeah, but... hmm.... I wish I could combine the Z06 and the Z51, there's things I like and hate on both of them. Slap the Z06 front on a Z51 rear and I'm sold.

Nothing wrong with that. That's good for GM. But I can picture it going the way of the Mustang. On any given day, you run across 15. Kind of loses its awe at that point.

Its still a tough call, but I say go with the Vette.

P.S. - No offense to the numerous people on this board now driving Mustangs. :)
