I am saying cops rarely ever pull you over for nothing unless you are doing something. Most cops have a little bit of a white trash redneck streak in them and enjoy a nice f-body themselves...


I bet $10 you were likely doing something to make a cop give you a ticket. I have alot of experience with cops, only ones that were over zelous were campus police, but even they have cut me breaks. And I know alot of times people like to post stories about how cops were being mean to them even when they were being "little angels"

i did get pulled over at 1 am one morning and for no reason i might add...he harassed me thinkin i had drugs, searched my car and evrything...poor guy had nothing on me lol thing is me and this chick was in a grocery store parkin lot and a cop came by askin us what we was doing and we toldem "just hangin out" reason we was there is we did a park and ride i was dropping her off at her car...so when i left he mustve radio'ed another cop and had me pulled over and followed the chick too...thats some messed up ****.

I see what you are saying but I totally disagree. He said he heard me and even wrote on the citation that I wasn't speeding. I think he made a simple mistake in assuming it was me. I'm tired of people thinking I am *****ing and saying I'm pefect. I have an uncle who is a state trooper and my step-dad was a police officer for 6 years. I know some people wine, but I wasn't speeding, I wasn't playing loud music, hell I even had my seatbelt on. Thats why I am so pissed off about the situation. I know he made a mistake and I'm not mad at him as much as I'm mad that I have to deal with this. You think you have me pinned and thats fine, I felt the same way you do until this happened... and one day when it happens to you then you will know what its like to be accused of something when you did nothing.

Yea, ugh, thats my number one pet peeve. I hate getting wrongfully accused more than anything else ... ever! I'm glad i wasn't in your situation cuz i'd have been a total **** to the cop :o Hopefully the judge won't be a total **** too and he'll dismiss it.

Go to the judge and tell him you are driving a one wheel wonder with an open differential and only wish you could do what the policman cited you for.

If that does not work, look the judge square in the eye and say, "What's the frequency Kenneth?" Then you run around the courtroom singing "Ring Around the Rosie." You'll have no problems.

Hahaha, i remember reading an article in a old C&D magazine where readers were writing in with intresting traffic stop stories. This one guy went to fight his ticket and claimed he was innocent becaust of insanity. No joke. The judge took him seriously and sentenced him to psychic rehabilitation at some nut-house. The letter was even post marked from said nut-house

the vid doesn't have sound but it cleary shows my speed and you can see me turning from the parking lot and onto the street and then onto the other street and I am going to bring an ariel image I found online that shows what street I came off of.

Well my court date was yesterday and about 2 hours before the time... I get a phone call from the county attorney's office. I called them 2 days after the ticket and left a message about the video and such. They finally call back and let me tell them my story over the phone. The guy finally says he will let me off with a warning because he believes me. He apologized for taking so long, he thought I was another josh... its funny because another josh hughes got a improper takeoff as well... but different middle name. So he wrote my citation off as a warning and I dind't have to go to court.

And for the haterz... FYA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What? A warning because he believes you? How about a drop the charges because he believes you? After that I would have told him that I'd rather go to court and have it dropped than get it reduced, if I didn't do it.

I'm not going to push it... I talked to my gf's cousing (works at the sheriffs office) and she said the warning will show up when I get pulled over for about a year and then its gone. And since I've recieved One ticket in the 6 years I'd been driving, well I'll be okay.

I could have argued it, but a warning is better then nothing. My whole thing was paying a fine and losing points off my license which could increase my insurance.

I thought your whole thing was that you didn't like getting accused of doing something you didn't do. Now it just seems like you did, and are getting away with it. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on you, just calling it the way I see it. If this happened to me the way you said it went down in the begining, I wouldn't have taken less than seeing this cop guarding the impound lot for making a false ticket.
