-btw don't hold him against us. There are decent performers out there. This is my 2.3L, stock block, forged rods, OE pistons, OE head, OE exhaust manifold, OE intake, OE cams, GT3071R and a best guess tuned ECU (done about 6 months in advance of the motor). 18psi baselines

So once again, we apologize. Don't just us to harshly by our hypocrites. I figured V6 f-body owners would probably share the same "under-dog" mentalities that we have.

Gotta tote the (eventual) kids around in something with 4 doors right? :o I had fun in my firebirds and I have fun in my Volvo's. If it burns fuel and air, I'll find a way to have fun with it.

how did i miss that thread? i must've been on vacation, that woulda been a fun one. It's guys like those that bring about stereo types, there are douche's with all kinds of cars, ricers bring down imports and idiots bring down our community just as yours. I got nothing against volvos because i know this so i'll forgive ;)

Volvo's are badass. Comfortable interior and handles turns/bumps/rough road amazingly. My favorite type of volvo is the S70 with the T5 turbocharged motor, they can move pretty good.

hondas, volvos, hyundais... all can be made to go fast.

i saw a civic hatchback hit 7 flat in the 1/8th mile this weekend.

7 flat is like.. faster than most crotch rockets. how the hell is this possible

i think i've seen the guy on youtube videos spanking LS1s

btw.. what was more impressive was a 1st gen pontiac firebird 400 i saw the other week at a muffler shop. those things are rare.

My Girlfriend has a 98 Volvo S70. I love it, handles great, good power/Comfort ratio, good gas milage, roomy, and leather interior. What's not to love? :D

I had 3 of them at one point. My '9, my '68 and a 67 rag top I never got finished restoring. Also had a 67 GP conv't (only year made), 74 grand am with a 455 (ugly but man would it melt tires) and a 62 catalina. Restoring pontiacs was the family hobby back then.
