I've got the ZZP. I badly wanted the COME..but I didn't know about swan racing selling it until a few months after I'd already gotten my ZZP. In a year or two when I build up again, the plan is a forged COME kit with a powerdyne or some other SC. ;)
The mods are:
ZZP stroker
Abbott Stage III heads
Abbott N/A Cam
Double Roller timing chain w/ !balance shaft
CIA headers
FIPK intake
3500stall that I've yet to order.
Trans-go shift kit
I'm y87, so I'm sticking with my 3.42s and zexel
I'm trying to keep the car full weight, with AC and everything. I'm not really a drag racer and I'm just trying to make a fun street car. I'll probably do some handling suspension mods when I'm done with the drivetrain.
*edit*
and I guess I should mention for those that don't already know(hi vanbibber) that I'm a Super Mod over on FTV6. That's why I promised I'd behave. :P
As far as cam selection for the stroker kit. The abbott N/A cam is nearly identical with what I'm going with for my COME Stroker build only with a 115LSA for the S/C.
As far as selection for a stroked build selection must be slightly different because the car begins making power a lot earlier in the rpm range than a standard build. Basically with a grind similar to the Abbott grind we should be making more power across a wider rpm range than just at the top of the range like the more aggressive cams. Yes it may make slightly more power with the more aggressive cam, but we'll have more power across the entire range with a slightly milder cam that takes advantage of the benefits of it being stroked.
