why would gm go and screw up a good thing? the vette is in a class of its own because it is a front engine/rear drive car and it either hangs with or hand the asses to the majority of the exotics out there(not to mention other front engine/rear drive cars like the viper :D ). the next big vette will make them cry. if they went mid, id lose all respect for the vette.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
my pics or the ones in the article? the pics I found are on google images under corvette indy. It was a ligitamate concept car, bout the same time that knight rider 3000 came out with the banshee in it. (Not that that was the first appearance of a banshee)

I don't understand why you would lose respect for progression... If they go mid-engine, and improve the car overall because of it, why would you be against that? If it stays at the affordable price tag and can whoop a few exotics, it's still a good statement whether its front or mid-engine. It kind of says, hey, we can pull off what Ferrari and Lambo could do for ages, and do it cheaper, maybe even better?
correct me if i'm wrong but the vette now is a mid engine rear drive car ? it least i know thats what gm calls it .
no, it's front engine rear drive. i've never heard them call it that but it's probably got close to 50/50 weight distribution which might lead to someone calling it like a mid engine rear drive car..?

A mid engine places the engine behind the driver but before the rear axle. Because it has a near 50/50 distribution doesn't make it mid engine, that's just called damn good engineering.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
ok , i'm wrong . but i do know that the motor is pushed back into the engine bay way far to get it that 50 /50 ratio . i geuss thats why i think it's a mid engine car .
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
