Yea I saw it on the 4th as well and I think its the greatest movie this year. I cnat wait until they do the sequel. I am also a dork deep down like a lot of you. Ive even bought a couple of the action figures for collectors items down the road, lol. The Camaro did look sexy as hell.
I just got back from seeing the movie in the ultra screen. I thought it was awesome. And the camaro was the definition of sex on wheels.
GM spent sooooooooooo much money on the commercial, uh, I mean movie. I wonder how much they spent to have that GTO get shot up?
On a side note, I don't know if you guys have the same previews, but there was one where a guy was recording a going away party for a friend, and then there was a boom. Everyone at the party went outside and on the roof of the building. Then there was a huge explosion and then it kind of let you hanging not letting you know what it was just like that. No one in the theater caught the name of the movie. You could just hear everyone talking confused and what not. Does anyone know what this movie is?? Looked kind of interesting.

I will get it for you guys though... we work at a theatre and were confused, it doesn't say what it is, but the actual physical trailer will be labeled... Its made by the same guy that does "lost" the tv show to it will be cool....
I like his style, its like the original jaws... lets you use your imagination alot to figure whats happening.

Did it give a date for when its coming out? I didn't remember seeing anything.
Nevermind. 1/18/08 is the release date. I guess the movie is untitled right now, but is being called cloverfield for now.

Yeah my wife liked it too. The stang vs. camaro was a blast.
Everyone in the movie theater clapped when they saw Bumblebee turn into the '09 Camaro. <SPOILER>
The only beef I have was the action was too fast and too confusing at times.
In some scenes you don't know what happened to Starscream. Rachet and Sidewinder disappeared from the battle. Soudwave, the little boom box, just took himself out.
WRONG! SOUNDWAVE AND HOTROD WERE NOT IN THIS MOVIE. THE LITTLE GUY YOU saw IS FRENZY...HE IS THE LITTLE PUNK THAT COMES OUT OF SOUNDWAVE from time to time. and soundwave is an autobot anyway. rumor has it they wasnted soundwaves character to be PERFECT BCUZ HES ONE OF THE MORE FAMOUR CHARACTERS so they spent extra time getting him right. another thing is that in this movie they tried to keep the size ratio between car and robot realitic. bumble bee was like 15 feet, optimus like 25 jazz like 12...and soundwave in the old show used to go from like 20 feet to a cassette player...didnt make sense. so for the sequel they are slightly altering his character
yeah, i saw that preview too, it said it was coming out Jan 18th? somewhere around that date. they already made a godzilla years ago i dont think it will be that.. but it does look awesome.
