    Re: Insurance change

I know for me I was going to buy my parents 1995 V6 Exploder (Explorer) and it would have been 123.XX a month (canadian) and thats everything but collision. For me to insure my v6 94 camaro, it is like 124.XX a month.

Mom used to work in the insurance office, and I was told that it doesnt really matter what kind of car you drive, as long as you dont have collision. Collision insurance is the real killer, and is the fee that varies most upon make/model cylynder and class.

      Re: Insurance change

I pay $1,500 every 6 months for my firebird. A trans am would have been $2,750 for 6 months. And I only paid $16 a month for my GTO (real one), but that was classic car insurance.

        Re: Insurance change

Heh, I pay $224 a month for full coverage on my W68. But I am also 21 with an "at fault" accident (wasn't cited but insurance payed out) and a speeding ticket. I'm sure once those go off my record my insurance will drop pretty decently because when my last speeding ticket came off my insurance dropped $10 a month.

no ****, full coverage on my firebird in Dallas county is right at $500 for 6 months, my wife's 03 mustang is the same. Now that we are married I'm hoping it goes a little lower, my motorcycle insurance with full coverage and tow coverage is like $200 for an entire year and I'm WELL above state minimum coverage on everything.

I for the most part HAVE to carry full coverage because living in the city it's not a matter of if a car will get broken into, but WHEN.

Being 29, with a clean record and great credit is soooo nice :D
