Here is my dilemma: I like video games, yet so many of the recent games have failed to spark any interest for me... If I had to pick my favorite video games, I would say that I am a FF7/Xenogears/Starcraft/Zelda kind of guy. ((Currently, I am finishing Shadow of the Colossus, and I have enjoyed it, though I think it gets a little repetitive at times. Additionally, I have Xenosaga 1-3 sitting, waiting to be played, once my fiance is back in town.)) So, what games are out there that you good people would recommend? Oh, and those of you that have played Colossus or Xenosaga, what did you think?
I always wanted to try out Xenosaga but just never bought it. Lately I've been trying to beat FFVII. I enjoy Zelda to, its to bad the new ones for the Wii with those f'd up controllers, I'd prefer playing Zelda with just a regular one like on the N64 or Super Nintendo.

I can't play because I am just so busy with my study and stuff. I love all the Zelda line up (except for the "wind waker"). And my other favorite game is all "Metal Gear Solid" lineup. Hideo Kojima FTW . I haven't played any new video games since 2004 :(
Metal Gear Solid "Snake Eater" was the last game to really pull me in, lately I just play Forza. Until NCAA Football comes out I am not looking forward to any other games. Most the of the genres suck right now, maybe in a year or two there will be more exciting things...

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is AWESOME! Period! And best of all, if you don't want to play it on Wii, you can get it for GameCube. Still get to use your regular style controller there. Best game in a long time. The Metroid Prime games surprised me too.
I'm a Gears of War man, I prefer a good shooter or a solid race sim. like any of the GTs or Forza. Although, because of lack of anything better to play I did just play through Fable and really enjoyed it suprisingly.
GOW2 was a very good game. They are making a new GOW for PSP and supposed to make a 3rd for PS3. Which should and will be incredible. I still play alot of Starcraft...9 years strong now. Cant wait for Starcraft 2 looks incredible. PROTOSS FTW! I just got a PS3 havent been able to check out alot of games yet for it. Loved the whole Metal Gear series for PS2...ready for Metal Gear Solid 4 for ps3. Ive heard good things about Ninja Gaiden Sigma and also Rainbow 6 Vegas.
