for all u guys who are extremely uncultured and dont have very good listening skills.....if u listen closely ull realize that when he says "bone your dog" he means "de-bone" as in remove all the bones from its body

well those things have actually been plagued with problems, seems the first batch had something wrong with the structure in the rear end or something like that.

funny as hell though, go back and find the original test of the car and the young guy was raggin on it the whole time.

they had a deadline and were a rushed project is probably why. Im not a ford fan, but i really like those...

dude, I know he didnt mean to have sex w/ a dog. the comment itself took me by surprise, and I thought it was funny how a perfectly normal British term means something COMPLETELY different in american english. Besides... who the hell says that anyways? "I'll eat your heart" too... who does he think he is? Mike Tyson or something?

Odd comments aside... AGAIN, he bought a $100k++ car. You buy a car like that because it has a certain reputation... a certain pedigree... a certain prestige to it. This is Ford's FLAGSHIP vehicle. This vehicle is supposed to represent Ford's engineering prowess. Its supposed to be Ford's "best foot forward". Its supposed to be THE CAR to represent the company. It's like if Ford were a nation, the GT would be it's head of state. You wouldn't send the president to talk to the prime minister of England wearing jeans and a Carhartt (those jackets ARE sweet tho). For all intents and purposes, the thing should be a flawless tank, and it's dead within the first day. AND THEN! how do they treat the customer? by giving him a little econobox fart machine to drive home. If a Ferrari did that, you can bet your *** that they'd be out there, repairing the vehicle instantly, apologizing profusely, giving him another Ferrari to drive in the meantime and in all likelyhood taking him to steak dinners every night that he has to wait for it. The whole situation is absolutely inexcusible on Ford's part.
It's for that very reason why I dont like Ford. This situation is why Ford is where it is now. If the car isnt ready to leave the factory, if there's a flaw in it, well... then it isnt ready to leave the factory now is it? and dont give me rushed deadlines excuses. This is their flagship car. Take as long as you need to make sure it's perfect. Anything thats supposed to be your masterpiece shouldn't have hard deadlines. It's ready when it's ready. Otherwise, you screw up and things like this happen. Ford got egg on its face. And with the lackluster customer service he recieved, it makes me think that something like that is common with the GT and its a haphazardly put together POS.
I used to like those cars. Not anymore. If I had the money and I was going to choose between a Ferarri and the GT, I'd take the Ferrari instead b/c tehy know how to treat thier customers. And it filters down too... would I really want to buy a mustang now seeing how they'll treat their top dollar customers? If their flagship vehicle is prone to stupid failures upon delivery, what does that say about their lesser cars? Absolutley inexcusable.
