Now I know how most of the members here feel about Lambo doors on our carrs. However, this kit seems to look pretty well designed. They claim it's a bolt in kit, and you don't have to cut or weld to install them. The fenders don't need modified either.
Check it out and post up your opinions now that they look decent.
Re: "Lambo Doors" that actually look decent.
I don't have anything against those kits, but i generally don't like the other aspects of that cars that normally have those. Those are normally the riced out cars.
Anyway, I think it looks pretty cool, but for 1300 bucks i'll keep my current doors.
Re: "Lambo Doors" that actually look decent.
Shouldnt this be in appearance?
That is the dumbest thing you can do to any near stock car... If you have a show car, with a ton of appearance stuff done to it, it may look okay, but on an otherwise stock car is looks ghey...
Re: "Lambo Doors" that actually look decent.
its not like something you would be driving around with constantly like that. its only getting in and out of your car. its kinda like a little wow factor. its just one of those things to make your car different and its not always noticeable, just when you get in and out, like i said.
Re: "Lambo Doors" that actually look decent.
I like lambo doors but you know that with everyday use they are going to end up costing you more later. If you have a show car that is only driven weekends and such then go for it, but for a daily driver and such... forget it.

Re: "Lambo Doors" that actually look decent.
Here's my problem with lambo doors :
1. They should open up vertically (like Lamborghini). Look at the Lamborghini picture. It opens straight vertically. The one in ebay auction open too wide to the side. Lets say you park your car in the parking lot and there are cars on both side of your car, HOw the f*** are you going to get out of the car?
2. It also looks like that the lower corner (sharp edge) of the door is right at the level of other cars front side glass (when doors opened). That means if you're not carefull, you can actually break someones side window glass and end up look like an douche.
Re: "Lambo Doors" that actually look decent.
dont care... i like 'em. they're sweet looking but they're a cherry on top. If you got lambo doors, that should be the LAST thing you do. Rims, paint, sound, leather interior, performance... all that should be very modded before adding the shaved door handles and lambo doors as the finishing touch.
that said, i never understood why they feel the need to charge 100$+ for them. Its just a few pieces of folded sheetmetal and shocks. probably not even painted. you do all the work yourself... they shouldn't be more than 400 bucks TOPS.
