Right. It's not like you asked us for our opnions on the matter or anything.
I'm still siding with the "V8 haters" here. I wouldn't trade my car for something questionable like this, reguardless if its faster or not. Save some cash and wait for a good deal.
maybe if it was a newer lt1 with less miles, i wouldnt touch a 93 or 94 lt1. i think they wented vented opti in 1995 but it might be 1996. drive it and see.

Nobody is hating on the v8. I have a v8 and love it. But we are not comparing the same cars here. We are comparing a 94 LT1 trans am with rebuilt engine to a 96 y87 RS 3.8 that we know more about since he owns the car.

it was 95
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it
thats good, i would trade too, if everything has that low of miles and a V8 i would take it over a nicer V6 and just get a new paint job, but thats just me. and yes, there are alot of V8 haters... its a V6 message board. hehe... anyway just do whatcha think is a better deal.
You asked for opinions and they where given but by all mean do whatever it is that you want. I think from the beginning you were going to do it no matter what we said, but I think getting a v8 just because you want to have one is a mistake. If you want one that bad, then I'd search around more. But then again you may have lucked up and found someone who traded you and you got the better deal. Post up picks when you can, and I hope you enjoy the car.

Gas won't be that bad as long as you stay off the throttle. The v8 will suck alot more gas percentage wise then the v6 when you go full throttle. So what exactly is wrong with the car... appearance wise? I know you said something about the paint just what would be the list of things you need to fix or clean up?

He's gonna leave you with **** if he keeps wanting to take stuff, pretty soon it will be the tranny that was rebuilt and then he'll want his engine..tell him if he wants your car so bad then why doesnt he just trade straight up? He's just going to keep milking you man. Stay firm with a straight up trade and maybe a $100 or so, but my god dont fall for that crap.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
