    Got my first motorcycle today!

    Its a 1992 Suzuki katana 600. I just got my license about a week and a half ago, so I'm taking it nice a slow so I don't kill myself. I love it though and I'm having a blast.

    looks pretty nice, esp for a 92. just be cautious

        Excellent choice for a beginner bike. You'll love it just be careful.

          I have plans to buy one in the winter (prices drop like crzy). Looking to get either Kawasaki ZZR600. Or if i can find a good deal on one, Yamaha R6. Nice bike...Be careful....im not worried bout your riding, its other ppl out there that are dumb as box of rocks behind the wheel that dont see you that worries me.

              Nice bike. There are two essential accessories.

              Good safety gear. Good full face helmet, gloves, thick leather or Cordura nylon jacket (not thin fashion leather), boots. Something more than jeans for your legs. Practice saying to yourself "All the gear, all the time". Practice saying to others "I'd rather sweat than bleed". Everybody falls off sometime.

              Training. The easiest sources are usually a community college or the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. Any dealer should be able to help you find a course.

              An incredible proportion of accidents occur from 3-12 months. Before that you're careful. After that you know what can happen.

              I own a few bikes. And tour cross country. The fast bike is a Honda VTR1000 Superhawk.

                Nice bike. Yeah, usually bike is dangerous when you're going slow on a heavy traffic. You have to balance it and watch out for other cars.

                    Yep I already took the MSF course, and they did a great job at teaching.
