3.8's arnt nearly as bad ... if i had one of them i would prolly just stick with it ..but i started the wrong way..with a higher mileage 3.4 ...and they suck (no offense to people on here who actually made them fast) but yeah ... i decided 8 mounths ago to go with an lt1....which as u can tell has been a pita ever since but hey once its running itll be great... basically everything is new...minus the rotateing asembly and heads and cam...everythign else is brand new pretty much ill have to make a complete list of whats all there one of these days

How do you know you need a starter and alternator ? what would make them go bad all at once?

Im not a genius, but a NON-RUNNING LT1 will always get beat to a 3.4l that is RUNNING. The 3.4l may have a 1/4 track time of a little over 16 seconds, but atleast it starts and rolls there. What are the track times you've gotten with the LT1 since the swap???

who gives a shyt about stock hp numbers. the lt1 aftermarket is so cheap it hurts. you can easily have a 400+hp lt1 for under $3500.
