nahh its not to bad but still sucks i need a new alt and starter...for now... after that it SHOULD fire up if not **** it and if it needs a new opti im gunna drive it off a huge cliff

160flywheel(and thats rated for new in good shape ones) myne was prolly lucky to see 115 at the wheels....

(mine) 98 3.8v6 Est: 200hp ish
LT1 Est: 275 ish
LS1 SS : 325 hp ish

but yea i see why you would upgrade, just hope its worth the trouble man!
3.8's arnt nearly as bad ... if i had one of them i would prolly just stick with it ..but i started the wrong way..with a higher mileage 3.4 ...and they suck (no offense to people on here who actually made them fast) but yeah ... i decided 8 mounths ago to go with an lt1....which as u can tell has been a pita ever since but hey once its running itll be great... basically everything is new...minus the rotateing asembly and heads and cam...everythign else is brand new pretty much ill have to make a complete list of whats all there one of these days

Im not a genius, but a NON-RUNNING LT1 will always get beat to a 3.4l that is RUNNING. The 3.4l may have a 1/4 track time of a little over 16 seconds, but atleast it starts and rolls there. What are the track times you've gotten with the LT1 since the swap???
