Talk about 6th sense

I own an old '88 Mitsubishi I4 pickup. It's a compact pickup and it was my first ride since High School. Well anyway, the under carriage of it is covered and the only thing that exposed at the bottom is the oil pan.

Well I went in to my truck. I put in the key the ignition, just when I was about to start it there's this urge for me to go pop my hood. To my surprise I saw a cat in my engine bay nursing about 6 to 8 small kittens.

Now imagine if I turned on my ignition and got the engine going. The fan and the belt would have shredded them into pieces. UHGGG!!

I ended up using the Firebird.

that reminds me... my step dad bought a farm about 10 miles from the house we use to live in. We had a cat at the farm and one day I got home from school and there was the cat!!!! We took it to the farm and it made its way back again the next day. We later found out that it was climbing into the fender of his caprice classic and riding home :) Lucky cat... and for you lucky kittens.
