so i was at work today, we needed the work truck, and my boss needed to run a bunch of errands, so reluctantly i threw him my keys. its pretty much the first time ive ever let someone drive my car. i had to let my mom once, and then i let my buddy take it around a parking lot (he has a 9sec nova and a 10 sec chevelle, so i wasnt worried)
but as my boss pulled away, i heard my exhaust from the outside for the first time! its a weird feeling.
do you guys let people drive your fbodies? if so.... how do they sound from "the other side"?

I only let girls drive my camaro. Doesn't matter if it's a co-worker or classmate. If it's a guy friend, straight up, NO. My dad drove my car couple times and from the outside I loved the sound. Our cars sounds pretty good with after market exhaust. That was one of the buying point when I was looking for a car.
Lol, I know what you're saying. The A/C in my wifes truck has been dead for a while. She started taking my car to work. I heard her backing up to turn around, and the take off down the driveway, and I was like "wow, that's pretty sweet". I rarely let others drive my car though, but I wasn't gonna make her drive the Danger Ranger in 95+ temps with no A/C.
Stock Y87 exhaust, but I've got a 3" in/out highflow catalytic convertor by Carsound. I've got a little done to the intake too, so that might help with the overall sound, I dunno.
mine sounds like CRAP. i think it sounds way too ricer. (but then again i criticize mustang GT's for not sounding v-8 enuf... lol)
i just have a stock exhaust w/ a flowmaster 80 series...

i let a mechanic friend of my dad's drive it up on to his lift when we fixed my oil leak so i got to hear it from the other side. I was amazed! It definitely sounds a lot better from outside than inside.
I NEVER let anyone touch the driver's seat of my car, not even to move it 5 feet. As for the exhaust note, it's a stock dual exhaust with the air silencer removed. I've got compliments on it when I'm under full accleration from a stop but anything else it's blah.
Let's flip a coin. Heads I get tail, Tails I get head.
the only people to ever drive my car have been the mechanics giving it an alignment. i dont wanna miss the rack. other than that nobody's ever driven my car...

Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
